Witness Against War in Woodbury, MN, 4 pm, August 29

Witness Against War offers testimony of its 485 miles of walking and talking with communities across Illinois, Wisconsin, and now Minnesota- thus far. Saturday August 30 the walk will reach St Paul. Walkers include veterans against the war; human rights workers who have lived with Iraqi refugees in Syria; Nobel peace prize nominee, returning from working with Iraqi refugees in Jordan; local peace activists planned the upcoming alternative conference during the RNC: www.peaceisland.us
